Project Overview
Our team comprises 12 members regardless of a particular stream in engineering. Altogether we strongly make sure that the works of all the sub-teams in this project have been done in an orderly manner with co-ordination. Focusing on one part at a time and being completely present in it, is what we follow to make it flexible. Given vehicle development, we have rectified some of the issues which we acknowledged in motor and battery during last year’s participation. The design objectives, set out to be achieved were four simple goals applied to every component of the vehicle: durable, Safety & ergonomics, lightweight, and high performance. All the parameters like Reliability, safety, Cost, Performance, aesthetics, ergonomics, Standard dimensions & material were also taken into consideration at the same time. Where ever possible finite element analysis (FEA) was done on the regularly loaded parts & modifications were done accordingly to avoid any type of design failure. Also, while designing every individual part DFMEA and DVP have been done which improved our quality standard, a factor of safety, and other safety parameters also. Furthermore, there are several aspects like innovation in service/product, additional features, etc. to enhance the marketing criteria too. For that, we have planned to concentrate exclusively on the battery charging aspect. Besides that, the promotional campaigns are targeted to all kinds of the audience through viral video campaigns on digital media platforms.
