Project Overview
The Quad Bike Design Challenge initiated by the Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers provides a platform for graduate students to fabricate their QUAD BIKE and compete against students from various colleges around the country. Quad Bike is an All-Terrain Vehicle (4-wheeler bike), which was initially developed as a farm-to-town vehicle in Isolated and mountainous areas. The team’s primary objective is to design a safe and functional vehicle based on a rigid and torsion-free frame considering the technical guidelines provided in the rulebook along with that working on each parameter that would enhance the performance and efficiency of our vehicle. Our project vision is to develop a technically sound and conceptually engineered quad bike that includes design, analysis, and methodology followed, and considerations made in the entire design process.
